Reality Check: Is Your “god” the One Described in the Bible?

Pay attention now! I’m going to tell you something that you had best make a fundamental part of the way you view the physical reality in which we live, move, and have our being. Things down here are not at all the way the “winds” would have you believe. That is so because you do not yet understand the nature of the “winds” that have, up until now, held you captive. So let me give you a clue.

What I call “winds” are normally called “spirits” by those who do not understand their true nature. The Truth is, they are nothing more than nasty thoughts, notions, ideas, and concepts that try to take up residence in your mind so they can control you, so that you do what they want you to do. That is what Jesus was talking about when He said this:

¹⁰Then, after summoning the crowd, He told them, “Listen and comprehend: ¹¹The thing that comes into his mouth does not contaminate the man; but the thing that comes out of his mouth, this is what contaminates the man.”

¹²At that time, after His disciples approached, they said to Him, “Are You aware that the Pharisees were offended when they heard the word?”

¹³So, in response, He said: “Every plant that My heavenly Father did not plant will be uprooted. ¹⁴Leave them alone! They are blind guides of those who are blind. So if a blind man guides a blind man, both of them will fall into a pit.”

¹⁵And then, in response, Peter said to Him, “Expound on this comparison for us.”

¹⁶So He said: “Are you even now also lacking insight? ¹⁷Do you not understand that anything that goes into the mouth makes room in the belly and is cast out into a toilet? ¹⁸But the things that come out of the mouth come out of the heart, and those things contaminate the man! ¹⁹For nasty speculations come out of the heart: murders, adulteries, sexual promiscuities, stealing, false testimony, false religious claims. ²⁰These things is the things that contaminate the man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not contaminate the man.”
