When You Say “New,” You Imply Something Else Is “Old”

The Voice of Elijah®, July 2019

Excerpt From Newsletter

Now that you know God planned to use the legal agreements He made with the sons of Israel to create both “male and female” Believers in His Own image and likeness (Gen. 1:26–27)—that is, He plans to “take” the physical bodies of some of the descendants of Adam and use that dirt to create Children for Himself—that insight puts a slightly different take on the passages I have shown you, doesn’t it? But I trust you will believe me when I tell you that insight into the Truth doesn’t end with that bit of information, not by a long shot; so keep on reading, there’s a whole lot more where that came from.

The next thing you need to know is God’s plan has always been to “reside” “in the midst of” His “People.” That is the point He makes when He tells Moses to build a Tabernacle just like the one he saw on Mount Sinai:

8 “[Then they must make] [a Sanctuary] [for Me] [so that I may reside] [in their Midst]. 9 [And [you must make {it}] like this]: [In accordance with everything] [that] [I] [am going to show] [You]—[{the} Pattern] [of The Residence] [and The Pattern] [of all] [its Things].”
(Exodus 25:8–9) —my interim translation
“[Then I will reside] [in {the} Midst of] [{the} Sons of] [Israel] [and I will be] [their] [God].”
(Exodus 29:45) —my interim translation

Those passages tell us what God planned to do when He ratified the first legal agreement with the sons of Israel.
